harvest blessings

In his letter to the Galatians, Paul is encouraging believers not to give up on doing what is right-- especially acts of kindness, generosity, and spiritual obedience. He is reminding them that spiritual growth and godly reward take time. Even when it feels like the world is against you, do not lose your heart for God. 

What I find beautiful about this verse is it is a call to action for believers to emulate Christ. We are commissioned to show His love to those around us. It is not always easy to do what it is right and it is often overlooked; however, as believers, we do not seek worldly rewards. Our harvest is a deeper relationship with God and the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant."
